Emily Duval and Dr. Mandy Rhodes came to Juxtaflo to launch their new business, South Bay Fit Camp--a boot camp designed for participants at all levels. Emily is an independently Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and Dr. Mandy is a Doctor of Chiropractic. Right away, we here at Juxtaflo knew these two had mountains of energy and would be great to work with. We were right.

Emily and Mandy wanted a website different than other boot camps. They knew they didn't want camouflage or military influences. They wanted a design that was fun, energetic, and showed how much fun their exercise programs could be.

They also wanted to be able to update the site themselves and they wanted participants to be able to register and pay online.

This was a fun site to design. We started with their logo (by Ledge Designs) and pulled design elements and colors and incorporated them in the graphic elements throughout the site. We then brought in photography (by Carolyn Ozimok) which gives the audience a great picture of how their fit camps are operated (think less military, more fun!).

From a technical standpoint, this is a fully valid, Drupal 5 site, using custom views. We used the FAQ and Ubercart modules. The shopping cart was set up using Paypal. We are hostign the web site our multi-site server.

What did Mandy and Emily think? We received numerous ecstatic emails and phone calls from them, which absolutely made our day.
